The Arts and Cultural Industries Association of Manitoba (ACI Manitoba) strengthens, represents and connects Manitoba’s creative communities and industries. We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts and creative industries of Manitoba and helping to develop sustainable careers for those working in arts and culture. We provide opportunities for career, entrepreneurial and business skill development through our various workshops, courses and seminars, and through mentoring and shared service provision. ACI Manitoba has recently established 245 McDermot –a professional coworking space in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District where creative people and organizations come together to work, share and grow.

Purpose of the Job
The purpose of the ACI Manitoba Communications Coordinator position is to implement communications, marketing and publicity strategies that promote the organization and its programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Communications Coordinator is an important first contact with members, media and the public. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for external communications and marketing for the organization including online, social media and print materials.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and a post-secondary education in marketing, communications or related field. Experience in website content management and social media is essential and knowledge of Manitoba’s arts and creative industries is important.

Terms of Employment
This is a part-time, 7 month contract, which may be renewed. Compensation commensurate with experience and based at $15 to $17 per hour.
