FastLife operates in major cities across Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand. FastLife is the most elite and stylish speed dating and singles’ events service. We organize singles events that enable successful single professionals with busy lifestyles to meet each other. Since 2002, we’ve been delivering great singles events to people that want the best experience available.
FastLife is expanding and we are looking for a new event host to join our Canadian team! We're looking for an outgoing, reliable, organized and socially confident person to represent FastLife as one of our event hosts.
Responsibilities:
• Emceeing and facilitating FastLife speed dating events
• Interacting with guests to ensure they are relaxed and enjoying themselves
• Liaising with venue manager to ensure logistics are taken care of
• Liaising with the FastLife head-office regarding events and venues
• Minimal online administration pre and post event to be utilized for reporting purposes
Qualifications:
• Great interpersonal and presentation skills
• Confident in a social setting and meeting new people
• Excellent communication skills
• Very well organized
• Very reliable and responsible
• Ability to relate to single professionals in your community/city
• Energetic and out-going
• Flexible and committed to attending two events per month
• The ability to make people feel relaxed and comfortable in your company
• Be proficient and have access to a computer and internet
• Immaculately presented as an ambassador for this stylish and elite lifestyle brand
Standard Event details:
• FastLife speed dating events typically take place on weeknights from 7:30pm
• The FastLife event host would be required to arrive at the venue 45 minutes prior to the start of the event During this time, you would ensure the venue is set-up correctly and ready for guests
• The duration of the event is approximately two (2) hours. Therefore, the event typically end at approximately 9:30pm
• A minimal amount of administration is required before each event which includes: printing name tags and a guest list
• A minimal amount of administration is required at the conclusion of the event which includes: completing an event report and notifying guests of their matches from the evening
Remuneration:
• FastLife event hosts earn $100.00 per a standard event as described above
• Bonuses are also awarded monthly for exceptional hosting based on event results and customer feedback
