Job Vacancy - ESP Instructors

ESP Instructors The English for Specific Purposes (ESP) Program at The University of Winnipeg is looking for experienced EAL instructors for the following courses for the upcoming winter session January 13th – April 7th, 2014. Foundations for English for Specific Purposes English for Academic Learning English for Academic Writing Qualifications: - An M.Ed. or M.A. in a related field (minimum of a Bachelor’s degree) - TESL Certification II (2000 hours) or equivalent - Three to five years of EAL teaching experience with stage two adults - One to two years of ESP teaching experience - Preferred experience in Academic or Professional setting - Knowledge of issues surrounding EAL, ESP, and settlement - Excellent interpersonal skills The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the creation of a course outline based on existing curriculum, objectives and outcomes; tracking, monitoring and reporting of student performance and attendance; level appropriate assessment; and other related duties.
