Adult EAL Evening Program Instructor
Based at McLeod Education Centre, Adult EAL evening classes are provided twice each week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m. throughout the school year. An Instructor is required for the Benchmark Level 4/5 class.
Requirements
TESOL certification or comparable training and experience
Understanding of and commitment to principles of adult learning
Ability to assess English as an Additional Language learning needs and to plan and deliver appropriate programming to meet Benchmark Level outcomes
Demonstrated ability to prepare student progress reports
Competence in use of Microsoft Office and computer database entry software
Term position – 7.5 hours per week including teaching and preparation time, effective September 9th, 2013 - March 19th, 2014, not including 2 weeks Christmas Break.
