Are you a teacher - you might be interested in this free Professional Development


The network is thrilled with the line up for our April 29th PD on assessment.  We will be presenting a variety of perspectives from school divisions within and around the city.  To register, just send us an email!  Please share this invitation widely.  ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

During our Meet & Greet, we will have Tannis Steiman, a VP in the Louis Riel School Division, share her journey in education with us.

So far, our expert panel on assessment will feature:

-Simon Laplante: Simon is the Assistant Superindentent of Curriculum and Instruction in the Seine River School Division.  He has been instrumental

-Jeff Levesque: Jeff is a school leader in the Interlake School Division.  He has worked from K to 12 and provides a broad perspective on assessment with an expertise in Information Communication Technology.

-Leslee Munro:  Leslee is a master teacher who provided divisional literacy support in the Winnipeg School Division before choosing to bring her expertise back to the classroom.
 
If you have specific questions around assessment that you would like addressed, please send them to us and we will share them with the panelists in advance.
 
When: Tuesday, April 29th from 4:30 to 6:30pm

Where: Garden Grove School, 2340 Burrows Avenue

The Network is a non-profit group that provides quality FREE professional development for all people with an interest in responding to diversity within the school system.  We are looking for a few people to contribute refreshments for our April 29th event.  If you are able to help out, please let us know.
