Job Posting: EAL instructor Adult EAL Program for Newcomers at the University of Manitoba English Language Studies invites applications for a part-time EAL instructor in its Adult EAL Program for Newcomers. The responsibilities of the EAL instructor include: • Planning and delivering EAL classes to adult learners following CLB guidelines • Assessing learning needs • Evaluating student progress The position will start on Feb 4th, 2014. Location: Massey Building, 294 William Avenue Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Class level: CLB 4/5 Qualifications: • A TESL certificate (Teaching English as a Second Language) • A related undergraduate degree • Experience teaching with Canadian Language Benchmarks • Experience teaching adult learners Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume and cover letter to Ben Starkey (starkeyb@extended.umanitoba.ca.
